Seametrics Inc. Acquires Instrumentation Northwest, Inc.

(Kent, Washington and Kirkland, WA) February 2nd, 2015 – Seametrics Inc. announced today that they have purchased the assets of Instrumentation Northwest, Inc. (INW), a leading manufacturer of water instrumentation, datalogging and telemetry equipment.

The acquisition of INW, based in Kirkland WA, further increases Seametrics’ ability to offer a more broadly based line of products to satisfy the needs of the industrial/municipal, irrigation, OEM, and environmental markets.

“We are very excited to have added technology which marries so well with our current line of flow meters for our current markets,” said Curt Burnett, Chairman of the Board. “We also now have the ability to bring a broad-based menu of products and technical expertise to enter markets we haven’t been before.”

INW Founder and President, Gregg Gustafson, commented further, “This acquisition will give INW products access to several new markets, while adding water level and quality parameters to INW products”.

The company will operate as INW, a division of Seametrics, with the full participation of its existing management and employees, and will relocate to the Seametrics factory in Kent, WA.
